Who Should Represent Us?
Bihar 2030 proposes higher eligibility and ethical standards for future MLAs. These are policy proposals, not current election law.
Minimum Education
Every MLA candidate should have completed at least a recognized bachelor's/graduate degree or equivalent recognized qualification.
Transparency: Candidate profiles should display highest educational qualification, institution, year of completion, and verification status.
Criminal Record Transparency
Bihar 2030 proposes strong integrity standards for public representatives. The platform should prominently display legally verified information about criminal convictions, pending cases, nature of cases, relevant courts, and current status.
Important: Never label someone a "criminal" merely because a case or allegation exists. Clearly distinguish between: Allegation → Pending Case → Conviction → Acquittal
Proposed Clean-Record Standard
Bihar 2030's proposed standard states that candidates for MLA should meet strict criminal-integrity requirements.
Due Process: Any proposed disqualification standard should respect due process and applicable constitutional and election law. Do not automatically treat every complaint, FIR, or pending allegation as equivalent to a conviction.
Education + Integrity + Transparency + Accountability + Ground Work + Results
